Benjamin (Ben) Harrington Ben Harrington has been principal of William A. Diggs Elementary School since 2022. Prior to coming to Diggs, he was the principal of Arthur Middleton Elementary School for four years. Mr. Harrington was the assistant principal of Dr. James Craik Elementary School from 2014-2018 and was named the 2018 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Assistant Principal of the Year. He served as an administrative assistant for Grades 3-5 at Berry Elementary School during the 2013-2014 school year. Before becoming an administrator Mr. Harrington worked as a special education teacher from 2006-2013, supporting students at the F.B. Gwynn Educational Center, J.P. Ryon and Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy elementary schools. Mr. Harrington believes that forming relationships with students and parents to support the positive learning environment at Diggs is important and through partnerships and strong instructional practice the students at Diggs will succeed and be prepared for success and the next stage of their academic career. |
